Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. She has received best-recognition for her performance in Nashville The 2012 drama in which she played Layla Grant. She also received the award for Sharknado 2013 where she portrayed Claudia Shepard. The role she played was that of Jerrica Jem Benton in the 2015 film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey was a part of Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years during her youth. Her speech was the valedictory of her school in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but they later voted to allow her in for an additional entry after she was chosen to play 'Nashville'. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress was also seen in the television movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective as well as The Good Mother. The latter was her most prominent part in the role of Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama series in its second season. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the top actors who is under 20 in September of 2014.
